New Years Eve

Can't believe it's almost 2016! Do you have any New Years goals this year? I'm dedicating more time to my blog and Instagram this year so I can accomplish more goals. Besides that my goal is just to always be happy. If you've had a bad year, now is the time to recharge and be hopeful. Life is never predictable who knows where you'll be next year!

One thing I love about New Years is how dressed up everyone gets! It's all about being bold. I bought this dress and bag from Sabo Skirt a few years ago. It's been sitting in my closet so I figured tonight was the perfect night to wear it.

Public Desire Laurel

I bought these lovely boots from public desire and I love them so much. I think they pair perfectly with this skirt from American Apparel! They come in black, khaki, and tan. (These are the tan). They run true to size. When inbetween sizes I size down because I have narrow feet and small calves, I would suggest sizing up if you have larger calves.

The skirt runs atleast a size small.

Holiday Lace

This the season to dress up. Can't believe it's already Christmas time. I get a lot of questions about how I stay warm, with the way I dress and quite simply I'm the type of person who considers 60 degrees warm. I love cold weather cause I constantly feel hot. I'm jealous of anyone who has snow right now!

This slip is from Free People, who have become my go to for fall clothing! So easy to layer all their pieces. They're expensive but you can find a lot of used pieces on eBay for about 50% off!

The boots are from Jeffrey Campbell and Free People. Such a good investment! They go with Everything! I highly recommend these if you want a pair of boots that you can wear everyday. They're pricey but well worth it in my opinion.

Boots: (has a narrow fit so size up if needed, best to size up if between sizes)  http://www.freepeople.com/shop/Joe-Lace-Up-Boot/?productOptionIDs=0B6E9CAD-A8F4-4CCF-8A37-466219F4EA95&cm_mmc=CA_PLAUS-_-Google+PLA-_-PLA-_-904311&source=PLA&CAWELAID=120120800000000220&source=PLA&catargetid=120120800000498967&cadevice=m&gclid=CLfghqnDz8kCFQ8zaQodhWMKBg

70's Belle sleeve

I found this dress at Abercombie over the summer and I love it. The 70's are really on trend right now and I love belle sleeve dresses.

I hadn't been in Abercombie for awhile, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this. I actually used to work as a "floor model" at Abercombie a few years ago. That's just a really nice way of saying "sales associate" lol. Some of their stuff is a little too high school for me, but they're really the only place I know of that sells jeans in my size (size 0). Plus they seem to have better pricing these days.

The boots were in my last post. I got them at forever 21. I'm sure they're still sold out, but if you want a similar pair look at my last post for a link.

Thanks for reading!!

Hello November

It's semi warm here still where I live. I'm so used to November being freezing that I find it crazy I can wear this without freezing to death lol. I know everyone is excited for Christmas, but I was born on Thanksgiving so I especially love November lol, I'm so excited for Thanksgiving and my birthday this month.  I bought this button up midi dress and boots at forever 21 when I was in my hometown. I forgot how great forever 21 can be with finding stuff at such affordable prices.

The hat I got in Venice. I miss Italy so much but I'm so glad I have little pieces in my wardrobe to add to my everyday outfits that remind of it. I used to visit Venice so often I could probably give tours on where to find everything lol.

At first glance I wouldn't of bought this midi dress. I'm not much of a fan of midi dresses but I love that this opens up so you can basically wear it as a vest/open button up. It's like adding two pieces to your wardrobe. There's tons of colors. But they only had this color at the time. I particularly like the red one (just search "plaid midi button up") I left at the bottom for the dress. The shoes are sold out at the moment but I'll do my best to find a good alternative.

Buy the dress here : http://www.forever21.com/mobile/product/Product.aspx?br=F21&category=21items_clothing_04dresses&productid=2000132127

Little Red Riding Hood

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! I had so much fun in this costume. I had a hard time deciding between snow white and red riding hood, but I'm so glad I chose this costume! I was able to have a photoshoot in the woods. Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. And I had such an eventful day yesterday.

Thanks for reading! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday as much as I did! Now it's time to plan for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

70's Inspired Romance

I recently bought this dress from Free People, and I love everything about it. It definitely has a romantic 70's feel to it.  It's flowy and perfect for any occasion. And the sleeves are to die for! I'm really feeling the 70's trend this fall, especially because of the belle sleeve tops and dresses I see everywhere. It's such an easy trend to pull off too. How are you feeling about the 70's being in style?

The dress has a build in slip, and I'm glad because it's one of my biggest pet peeves, buying a pricey dress and having to go on a hunt for an under piece. How annoying and impractical. This dress isn't easy to get on, but it's very comfy.

These boots, were an investment. They cost around $300, but they are extremely comfortable and look great with everything. If you have the money to splurge, I definitely think buying a pair of timeless trendy boots are a must. However, you can find over the knee boots at Charlotte Russe or Forever 21 if you'd like to experiement with the over the knee style for cheap! I adored the distressed and worn look of these boots. They pair well with everything so I'm glad I bought them.

Dress is the "With Love dress" from Free People $128

Boots are Joe from Jeffrey Campbell, only available at free people. $298 (if you have large calves or wide feet consider sizing up. I have narrow feet/thin ankles and they fit like a glove)

About a girl fit & flare dress

About a girl fit and flare dress

I recently started shopping at free people. I saw Lucy Hale wearing this dress and I thought it was adorable for fall. Most of their stuff is great for layering which is a huge plus! I also adore dresses with boots and over the knee socks, which is pretty much what my fall style consists of!

You can get the boots from Jeffrey Campbell. But beware because they are pretty expensive. But in my opinion worth it! Especially if you want a pair that will last! Unfortunately the dress is sold out, but you can find it pretty easy on eBay!

Thanks for reading! I have tons of blog posts coming

Free People Annabelle tunic

This outfit is perfect for those days where it's still hot but you want to dress more fall vs summer. I have become so obsessed with Free People lately. And I love the print on this Annabelle tunic.

Beware because this tunic runs very very short. It's impossible to wear without shorts under or sizing up.

I bought these boots from misguided over summer. I think they perfectly go with the tunic. I would have preferred them close toe but I suppose they are perfect for early summer days!

Thanks for reading.

Fall Look Book

Thank you for checking out my lookbook for fall! This is a little prievew of some of the looks I've been piecing together. It's still hot here, but I'm about to visit my hometown in Indiana where it's much cooler! So time to bring out my fall wardrobe!! I've been working on revamping my fall style for the past couple of months. I have a lot more different looks coming, but I love these for the beginning of fall.

Who's ready for pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin patches and Halloween?

This look isn't new, but it's one of my favorites for fall. I adore these socks. I think when transitioning into fall mixing florals with darker pieces and boots it's an easy way to do it.

I am loving the 70's trend for fall. I fell in love with this romantic bell sleeve dress from Free People. It looks so good with boot socks and booties. It's one of those pieces you can throw on and easily be ready for anything.

Say hello to my new favorite boots for fall. They were really pricey but well worth the cost! I love the lace detail of this tunic. But beware you must wear a slip under lol.

Thanks for reading! I'll be making separate blog posts for each look soon with way more pics of each. Just wanted to give a little glimpse of some of the things I'll be wearing for fall :)

Thanks for reading!

Gorgeous Garden

Happy Friday. Just wanted to make a very quick outfit post. I was hoping it would cool off by now, but not even close. It's still in the 90's + here. I'll be in Indiana next week though! So I can't wait to pack my fall wardrobe.

Today I got out my gorgeous garden navy dress. I'm sad because even the XXS is kind of big on me. But oh well. First time getting to wear these Coral Jeffrey Campbell Scully's. I found this color of Scully to fit way smaller than my white pair for some reason! Don't be scared to buy floral now! It's easy to transition it into fall with a jacket and knee highs and booties!

Thanks for reading

90's Clueless

I know it's nearly fall, but it's still insanely hot here near Texas! I am working on a fall look book right now, so if you're looking forward to fall fashion stay tuned! I don't know if I've mentioned how much I love glitters for dinner, but I adore them. They have so much 90's fashion. From Clueless to very Romy and Michele outfits. All so 90's. So you can be a total Betty ;)

Note to self ; make sure your skirt is turned the right way lol! Oh well mistakes happen.

Shoes are from Jeffrey Campbell!

I promise I have fall outfits coming! I'm just working very hard on my look book right now. :) Should be done within a week or two. I'm very excited for it, as I've worked so hard to revamp my fall style!

Candy Hearts

Candy hearts is one of my favorite BM prints so naturally I had to buy the crop when it was released. Candy hearts was actually a dream print for me. I was planning on putting it on my 200 piece custom but luckily I don't have to anymore!

I haven't gotten to wear this tulle as much as I wanted to this summer. But there's always next summer. This is a great piece cause you can also wear it under skater dresses.

I've also been doing my makeup lately. I have very high cheekbones and I think my light contouring I was doing was making my face too hallow. My advice for girls with high cheekbones. Skip the contour and go for highlighter alone. I regret not going for a bolder upper liner. But here I was testing how I looked with very light makeup. I have sheer foundation, very light liner, mascara, highlighter and highlighter.

If you haven't tried strobing, do it! It's much more youthful than contouring. And it's easier!

Tip: You can spray Urban Decay setting spray or etc on your brush before applying the highlighter for a more wet/extreme glow.
