Booty Bag review!

I got the chance to work with Booty Bag and let me tell you, I am so impressed! They have the loveliest costumer service and cutest undies!

So here's how it works: You pay $12 a month, and get two panties. You can choose between thongs, no thomgs, and a mix. I personally like to mix it up. You can also add a bralette for $13! Here's this month bag. I have another bad on my IG if you want to see another months. I love the quality, and I love getting a surprise in the mail. It's fun. And unlike other subscription boxes you won't be getting things you won't use. Cause who couldn't use more undies?

I also have to mention, that with every picture tagged #undermatters they donate a $1 to the Malenoma foundation! I think that's awesome. Especially since their subscription is such a bargain. So make sure to tag your bootay bag when you get it.

Overall I would highly recommend this subscription. It's affordable, it's cute, and they give back! :)

Hair care!

It's been awhile since I made a post, so I figured I'd do one on hair care. I've tried a few new things lately and love them. I won't drag out this post, I'll cut to point whether they're worth it or not.

I've been using this kitiko spray for a few months and I love it! My hair tangles really easy, and I also felt like it was breaking and damaged. I do feel like my hair has been so much better since I started using this and switched to the Joico moisture recovery Shampoo and aconditioner. I've also been LOVING Fanola purple shampoo. The bottle is a bit messy so I couldn't get a picture but it's by far the best purple shampoo I've ever used. It's made in Italy! I love Italy so much so had to give a try. It's almost as strong as a toner honestly. My hair got brassy on my last trip. I was just using regular Suave shampoo there and swimming a lot without chlorine stripping shampoo  but I used this stuff twice and my hair is back to the way it was. I also don't think my hair has gotten much drier since using it. Be careful, I'm not sure if the kind sold on Amazon is real. I bought mine from Salon Guys which I recommend as its authentic, and you're taking a gamble on Amazon. I feel like it's a 10, is pretty good anti heat spray. Some people say they don't like it on their but some other rave about it. So I guess it depends, but I do like it. I also love the Paul Mitchell "super skinny" serum! It's pretty cheap, but it pretty good just to smooth your hair.

Joico shampoo

Joico conditioner

It's a ten miracle leave in

Paul Mitchell Super skinny serum - they have it in salons at walmart too. Honestly a little goes a long way so I don't see the point in buying a bottle bigger than the travel size. Hair products expire too, so I tend to make sure I use everything within 6-8 months.

Fanola purple shampoo - use code Fanola 10 and get 10% off, also free shipping over $79

Kitiko

So I was sent these by Lux Beauty Club! I have never tried extensions before so I'm only going off what I know. These are the "27/613" starter kit. I believe they are synethic hair, but I still managed to straighten them no problem. The issues I did have with them is that they tangled easy and they didn't match, so I wasn't able to die them. If you're going to go with synthetic make sure they match! I will say I was surprised they weren't real hair because they did seem good quality. They're only $29.99 so worth it if you starting out!!!

E.l.f Massaging Eye Wand

E.l.f Massaging Eye Wand

Not gonna lie, when I first saw this, I was really confused because it looks like a vibrator lol. But when I read about it, I was excited to try it. Basically it heats up, and lightly vibrates while you apply undereye cream/gel. I thought for sure it was just another one of those products that seem too good to be true. But I can honestly say I think it really does help with the application process. Plus the heat feels really good in the morning. I know that a lot of cooling products have good effects, but I don't like putting coldness on my face, especially in the morning. The Wand retails for $25, and you can buy it off the site which I'll link below.

How to use : Make sure you have the battery in, and the cap is removed. I dab the wand in undereye cream/serum and go ahead and dab it under my eye. As you press against your eye just lightly press the middle sensor. And lightly spread the product around your eye. It only takes a couple seconds to heat up.

Final thoughts? I really like it. I honestly didn't think it would work. I try to be as honest as possible, as I wouldn't want any of my followers to waste money, especially because it's priced at $25. I'm 28, so I don't have a wrinkles or fine lines. But I do have the beginning of lines under my eyes, which is to be expected once you hit about 25. I noticed that with the wand, it helps the product really get absorb in that area and I think it's a noticeable difference. I'm going to use this on my mom and see if she notices a difference. I definitely think it's worth a try!!

Cailyn Cosmetics O! Wow brush

Hey everyone! Looks like I haven't made a blog post in awhile so I'm super excited to update on a few things I've been using beauty wise! Hope everyone is having a great week. I'm actually on my way to the Airport at the moment. Lately ive been really into beauty and makeup. So I hope that the new posts I make are of interest to you all!

I was sent this foundation brush from Cailyn Cosmetics and I've been using it everyday since. I'm so used to using sponges and regular brushes, but this is so much easiegr! Plus it doesn't leave any streaks on my face! I usually use a brush to apply foundation then I go in with a sponge to remove any access product. But with this I don't need too because it blends so flawlessly. I try to be as honest as I can with my reviews because I would never recommend something I wouldn't buy.  It's definitely something worth every penny, and in this case something I'd go out and buy. The brush retails for $32, and I'll leave a link below to buy it. It's really easy to clean and it comes with a cap so that you can store it away from touching anything.

I have always considered myself a beginner with makeup, but I love that I'm learning more as I go. In this picture I am wearing Lime Crime Red Velvet. I actually started wearing blue contacts lately and I am loving them so much. It's amazing how changing your eye color can change your whole look. I used the Cailyn O! Wow brush to apply FIT foundation. I'm also wearing Black Milk Clothing (I know shocker!) lol. This top is called the Important Date Wifey top!

Last few weeks I decided to go a bit blonder, and I'm very happy with the results. I was afraid the color would wash me out, but I love it. For anyone out there with bangs, balayage can be a bit scary because you never know how it will blend with your bangs. At first I skipped coloring them and the look was extremely unbalanced. Luckily I found a good stylist who helped wash out the brassy yellow and add more of a ashy blonde with chunky bits in the bangs. If you have straight bangs I suggest either putting the balayage lower in the hair and keeping the top portion dark. Or doing what I did-add chunky bits to your bangs and have the bayalage start up nearer the roots. I'm going to make another post soon about hair care :)

Hope you all enjoyed this review!

XOXO

Cow Cow gave me the opportunity to work with them and create a couple pieces recently! Naturally I went went Harry Potter themed stuff being the Hogwarts nerd I am lol. How cute is this bag and little wallet? They also sent me a couple other things :)

Make sure the art picture you pick is high quality so it turns out the best quality! I will definitely be working with them again in the future, I think next time I'll do a onesie pajama set with my cat and dogs picture all over it lol! The options are limitless.

How cute is this bag? I'm a HUGE Draco fan so I absolutely adore it. It took me awhile to deliberate what picture to use because there's so many Harry Potter art pictures to choose from.

Sabo Skirt Polka set

Quick blog post! Sorry I haven't been as active lately I haven't been able to do any pictures outside my house for a bit. But I'll have some up within the next couple of weeks.

I love how fresh and pretty this set is. It runs very true to size so need to size up. If however you are on the lower cup size maybe consider sizing down as it has tons of stretch to it. I love the daisy detail on the crop and how it looks like there's pearls all over the skirt. If you haven't bought from Sabo Skirt before, I highly recommend them if you want something that's unique to the current styles celebs are wearing but different enough from what the other stores are selling. They're based in Australia so the sizing runs maybe a tad smaller but not enough you should worry about sizing up.

The Femme Fatale Skirt

I LOVE this skirt! It takes a little effort to zip this one up since it's supposed to fit like a glove. My advice is to stick to your normal size because I made the mistake of sizing down and had to exchange it for an XS.

Free people 100 degrees dress

Happy Easter! I can't believe that I'm saying that, feels like it was Christmas 5 minutes ago lol. So happy that it's warm and sunny. Hope everyone has a great holiday!

I am so in love with dress from free people. I think it's perfect for any body type, but beware you'll need a stick on bra if you're busty. I am a b cup so I just go braless. But the back is backless so those are your only options! I'm going to do a shoot in this dress soon, so I'll save back shots and etc for a furthur post.

I got a lot of questions about this dress when I posted a selfie awhile back so I figured I'd link the dress. I had the ivory for a brief period, it's very sheer. I recommend one of the pastel or darker colors, especially if you're not blonde as it'll go perfectly with darker hair shades. I love the blue and rose color on the site now! Would definitely go for one of those shades! It's very true to size so I would suggest sticking with your size!

The shoes are also from free people! I'll put a blog post up about them soon. I'm not sure if they're still available but I have them in tan and black since I love them so much. This dress goes perfectly with lace up gladiators as well, so I'll link a pair below.

Summer Whites

It's officially summer where I am. I am hoping its warmed up for those of you that had a harsh winter! One thing I love about summer is the color white. I don't agree with the silly rule of only wearing white at certain times of the year, but a lot of brands make gorgeous white clothing in the summer months!

I received this crop set from Toby Heart Ginger recently and I love it so much. If you're not comfortable in crop sets you can always opt for white jeans, dresses, and skirts :) I'll link a few items below I think will look good on every body type. Not that you should dress based on your body type, I just don't want to leave anyone's style or shape out.

I'm really happy with how my hair turned out. I used the nume 19" magic wand and I highly recommend! I have a lot of hair so it was time consuming but well worth it! Use the code heart29 to get any wand for $29!

I'm linking a few things below if you're interested in trying the white trend that will always be around. All images are off the websites they belong too :)

AGACI

I didn't initially plan on making a post today, but I really love this dress so I figured I would share the deets on it.

One of my favorite stores to shop in locally is AGACI. Sadly a lot of their things don't fit me. I am a size 0-2 and they carry S-L, so besides the bodycon dresses a lot of the stuff baggy on me. But I was happy to find that this dress fit me. And it's on sale right now :)

Classic pink

I've been trying out new styles lately, and I absolutely adore how feminine this outfit is. While crop tops are definitely a style that come in out and out of popularity, I think the silhouette of this skirt screams classic. As we know some things will always remain timeless- the little black dress, feminine colors, knee length skirts, winged eyeliner.

As mentioned in my last blog post, I love BlackMilk's wanderlust collection. It's very reminiscent of 1969. And who doesn't like to play up with their wardrobe with styles from the past? Fashion can take you where you want to go. And I do believe you should have fun with it. Basics are nice, but to me I want to look back and think I experiemented a little, even if things are out of my comfort zone. This outfit isn't exactly edgy, it's very girly and whimsical but it's not my usual style and I love that it has a little touch of the past.

Let's also talk pink, love or hate? I absolutely adore pink, because of how feminine it is. It reminds me of ballet classes as a little girl. This skirt is the perfect shade of ballet pink for my liking.

1969

Blackmilk released their wanderlust collection recently and I'm obsessed. I love that everything revolves around 1969. I had a hard time not buying everything.

My favorite from the collection is definitely the bell bottom set! I've been wanting to buy flare jeans lately, being that the 70's trend is huge right now, but I'm not a big jeans person. So when I saw that bm is making bell bottoms again I was super happy! They are wifey material, meaning they're lined in fleece, making them the most comfy pair of leggings/pants/etc ever. I didn't want to take them off at the end of the day lol.  I sized down like I do in all wifey pieces and got an XXS in the crop and bottoms. I would suggest sizing down if you can, because unless you're above 5'8 these will be a little long. I'm 5'5 but I have pretty long legs, luckily they work perfectly with heels. You may want to invest in a good pair of platforms for this outfit if you're on the shorter side.

I was really excited to take pics in this outfit because I normally stick to crop sets, but I have been branching out and trying new styles lately. So when my friend wanted to do a photoshoot with me, I knew this outfit would be the focus! (I took a bunch of other outfit photos, but I'm going to put those in later outfit posts)

Thanks for reading! PS if the bell bottoms are sold out in your size, don't be sad! There will be some new prints in the next collection on March 8!

Ice cream Swim

I've blogged about this bikini before but I got a lot of DM's about it on IG so I decided to make a new one so it could be easy to find.

I bought this swim at mod cloth last Fourth of July sale. I absolutely love everything about it. It's very retro but it's cute at the same time. I'm not usually comfortable in overly sexy pieces but I absolutely adore this one because of the print and Ruffles.

It's almost true to size but I find the top runs slightly tight. I'm a true 34 b and I feel like it slightly squishes my boobs. But I do feel like a 36 b would hang off. So I would suggest going a cup size up or the equivalent of the next size up. (remember that going up doesn't mean increasing the band)

I looked for the link but it doesn't appear to be on the site. I remember finding this swim last January when it was sold out and it appeared back for sale around spring. They have a habit of selling things that are in demand. I have however made a few links for other swim suits that are similar in print, style or have a retro vibe. :)

FYI you don't have to be super skinny to wear a high waist bikini! I personally think any body type can rock this type of swim suit. So don't be afraid to try it.

Little denim

Hello, I know it's January. But I don't care. I live in the middle of the desert anyways. I love these little shorts from Sabo skirt. Perfect for summer, I recommend sizing up if you have a bum because I'm usually an XS, and I sizes up to a small to keep my bum in them lol.

This top is part of the "Newport dress set" from Toby heart ginger, but I think it's the perfect crop to match anything. Size up or twice if you are busty. This is an XS, which is my usually size. As you can see I'm not busty so the small fit on the sides won't make much a difference.

I've also been using loving tan  to fake tan and I love it! This is the medium. It goes on easy, but I recommend using a glove when applying. Go for the dark or ultra dark if you want something more intense! I will be making a blog later on about tanning. I'm still trying to find the perfect color. I will be trying the dark next. So I'll blog about all the tanners I've tried if you are looking to try it.

Sorry for such a short post!

Pushing daisies

Have I mentioned how much I love summer? I feel like I spend half the year counting down until the warmer weather starts to hit. I'm just looking forward to days at the pool, and having lunch dates outside the little cafes around here. I got this "pushing daisies" set from Iloveshowpo.com and I'm so in love! It's perfect for summer. Now if only the weather would catch up. Their sizing is pretty true to size. But I would suggest sizing up on tight fit items. I'm usually inbetween a XS and Small, usually more so on the XS. And the small fit me perfect! (Their other items fit me in a XS).

On my next blog ➵  I'm working on a favorites blog for beauty and hair products. I completely changed my hair, makeup and tanning routine so please check that out if you're interested!
