Little White dress.

Hello Lovelies, we all know the color black is fabulous. After all, time and time again we hear the phrase "little black dress" but what about the color white? I think white is underrated and I think the whole "don't wear white after labor day" is rediculous. You can always rock white in the fall and winter by mixing it with darker hues like burgundy and black. I think every girl also needs a Little White dress in her summer wardrobe too. I realize now I bought an insane amount of white dresses last year without noticing. Something about the color is insanely feminine and classic. It reminds me of warm summer days which is why I am dying for the weather to warm up more.

I love the lace details and baby doll shape of this dress. I know they say white makes you look bigger but I don't think that's true. I think wearing the wrong kind of dresses for your body and prints that overwhelm you make you look bigger. If you are worried about it making you look bigger look for something a bit flowy and lacey that doesn't super hug your curves. This type of dress would look great on any shape. I am super thin and this dress actually made me look even thinner by accentuating my legs.  If you're curvy and looking for something to soften your curves in a feminine way, this will work. Trying to hide a tummy? This will work great because it's super flowy. And if you're tall or tiny like me this will accentuate your legs. Everyone wins in this dress.

I know white can be a little scary because it can stain easily but here's my advice, bring a tide to go pen! I always carry a tide to go pen in my purse. Sounds dorky but think all of the times you stain something you are wearing. My husband made fun of me at first until he of course stained his own clothes on numerous occasions and realized how handy it was. It's a smart thing to carry.

I'm obsessed with these shoes. The good thing about the color white is it goes perfectly with bright bold prints. If you are kind of iffy about bold colors or prints but kind of want to try it, this is the perfect way to do it. Just throw on a little white dress and some bold heels/sandals and bold printed bag and Viola'! Easy Peasy. I got these shoes a couple years ago but here are some other shoes I love that are like it.

I got these curls from the NuMe reverse curling wand. I will do a blog about it later. It's amazing! And it's only $27 with the coupon I found on retailmenot :) !!! Originally $169. Use code ILOVENUGGET.  NuMe wands are amazing!!! And they always have amazing coupons that save atleast 70% off.

Little white dresses are everywhere. Especially in the warmer months. But here are some links to some one's I am loving right now.

Venice Part 2, Spring time in Venice

It's finally spring here in Italy! When it's warm out and the sun's on my face I am instantly in a good mood. Especially because that means one thing dress weather. Nothing is better than dress weather. Since spring just hit, I wanted to do an early blog about some of my favorite pieces for the upcoming months, and what better place to shoot them in than Venice?

Favorite shot of the day was definitely this one. I really feel like the vibe of this photo perfectly shows off  what I was going for. I absolutely love the buildings in Venice, everything is old and beautifully romantic, even the alleyways like this one.

I really love this look for spring/summer! I absolutely adore dresses, I basically live in them year round. I love spring and summer because I can finally start wearing my sundresses. Sundresses are effortlessly cute and there's never a wrong occasion to wear one. Here I'm wearing the Lollipop Flare dress and oversized sunnies from sabo skirt, with white chain open toe heels from urbanog.

or try a similar dress : http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product

shoes : I got these shoes from urbanog.com, these shoes keep getting restocked and selling out fast so I will list a few websites, just keep an eye out.

or try

Most of the wide open areas and alleyways in Venice are covered in Posters. Posters for everything.

.  Cut out dresses are still a big trend this year, especially in the spring and summer months. My favorite part of this dress is the daisy cut out design and geometric pattern. I think it's safe to say cut out dresses, maxi's, pastels, patterned, and floral dresses will be on trend for years to come.

Being by the water makes me long for the summer months. If only summer were twice as long and winter was twice as short.

What goes better with a bold sundress than Ice cream? Or as the Italians call it Gelato, and trust me it's so good in Italy it deserves it's own name. The answer is nothing. In fact if you're wearing a sundress now, you should go buy some. Bold, fluorescent patterns will always be a great way to make a statement. The weather isn't quit warm enough to wear it solo just yet, but once spring starts transitioning into summer, on those warm nights this is the perfect go to dress. I adore bold patterns and this color is just right. I love the criss cross design on the chest and the cutout part of this dress.

I'm wearing the dusk prism dress from sabo skirt. I don't think it's still available but
nasty gal has the same dress in a different print and it's on sale.

for shoes try:

Doesn't matter where you go in Europe, the dessert is good. Especially the macaroons.

Did someone mention macaroons? I'll take them all please.

And all of these too please!

Hope you are as excited as I am for warm weather. My wish would come true if it stayed that way year round. A girl can dream right? Time to bring out the dresses, sunnies, sandals, rompers and shorts ladies. If it's still cold where you live don't fret it will eventually warm up. If your looking for trends go for sheer fabrics, bold prints, pastels, crop tops , sundresses and cut out dresses because those will be big this year.

Venice Part 1

I have the blessing of living in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Italians know how to dress, make pizza and drive like maniacs (no offense intended lol). And yes I can definitely say Venice is exactly how you picture it. Gondola's, Gelato, pizza, pasta, and shopping all near the water. Venice is a major tourist attraction and I believe when you go anywhere, especially somewhere this fabulous you need to dress the part!

Nothing says "gondola" like black and white stripes. Here I paired a striped saboskirt dress with ankle wrap heels from H&M and added a hat I bought from one of the vendors on the street.

The dress is sold out from saboskirt but the look is super easy to create, try these :

Shoes are also sold out but here are some alternatives :

Bag is from sabo skirt :

Floral print is a trend that will be around forever! I feel like a good floral print bag can match nearly everything. I pretty much wore this bag with everything last spring and summer.

One of my favorite parts of this dress is the back. Low back anything is okay by me. I feel like a good low-back dress let's you show off a little skin without trying to hard. Low back is a trend that I feel like has been around for a long time. I remember watching tv when I was little and all the actresses had low back dresses on in the 90's.

In Venice there is no wrong place to take a picture. The scenery is amazing everywhere you go. From the gondola's, buildings, churches, and dessert shops everywhere you look is a picture worthy moment, so make sure your phone is charged to take pictures.

You can't go to Italy without going on a Gondola and trust me its worth every penny, especially in the warmer months. The Gondolier will sing sweet Italian songs while pointing to certain historical places, they provide a blanket for you in the cooler months and at night everything is lit up and some of the Italians will wave to you from their balconies.

Tradition says you kiss your s/o under the bridges in Italy for happiness in the future.

The restaurants are adorable in Venice. Sip some wine while taking it all in is a great way to unwind.

Pizza with sun-dried tomato's, olives, and sprinkled in goat cheese. Italian restaurants are made up of my two favorite things, pizza and pasta. By far the best pizza I have ever had. They have so many different types of pizza it's hard to choose. Want seafood on your pizza? They have that. Want french fries on your pizza? Yea, they have that too. And anything else you can imagine, they have it.

I'm pretty sure this is the best bruschetta in the entire world. Everything in Italy is so fresh. It makes it that much healthier and delicious.

Gnocci with 4 cheeses. Gnocci is basically a soft thick pasta and it's delicious. I'm not sure what they do to the food here but it's amazing.

I'm not sure what these Italian's do to this Gelato, but seriously it's amazing! They have so many different flavors and it's 100 times better than ice cream. The texture is creamier and it just tastes fresher. I am not a big fan of Nutella, I know I know, I'm the only person who doesn't like it lol. But they have it in alot of their desserts, even the Gelato so if you love Nutella look out for that. They also have amazing hot chocolate in the cooler months and it tastes just like melted chocolate. It's the perfect way to warm up while strolling through Venice if you visit in the late fall or winter. They also have Italian Ice and milk shakes and they taste just as good as the gelato. The lemon Italian Ice is my favorite, its perfect on a hot summer day. I always grab a Vogue Italia and chocolate milk shake to drink on the train ride back from Venice

St. Marco Square

Venice, oh how I love living by you. I will never get tired of looking at your scenic beauty, and eating so much gelato that I can't move afterwards. There's so many restaurants in Venice it's almost impossible to choose, but the reality is there is no wrong choice. A gondola ride and atleast 4 scoops of gelato is a must when you visit Venice. Make your way to St Marco Square because really you can't go to Venice without going and looking at the buildings there. If you plan on going into the churches dress modestly. Don't be surprised by the amount of Italians you will see walking their pets, and yes pets are allowed inside restaurants and churches and everywhere else. Pets are part of the family in Italy, I really love the idea that your dog/cat can go in with you. I saw a kitten on a leash in an Italian church once and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. I definitely recommend putting Venice on your bucket list of places to visit.

Hair Care Review : NuMe's Titan 3

♥ Remember when Miley Cyrus had long curly wavy hair on Hannah Montanna? Don't lie, you know you used to watch it lol. She used to be my hair crush. Don't get me wrong her short hair is pretty cool on her but I prefer long hair on myself.

♥ Anyways, when this show came out I had to know how Miley was getting her curls, so after many hours on youtube I learned about curling my hair on a regular curling iron without using the clip. If you don't know, you basically hold the curling iron upside down, leave the clip closed and wrap your hair around the curling iron and hold the ends. I curled my hair like that for years. But at-last some brilliant genius made a curling wand (a curling iron without the clip), or maybe they have always been around and I never noticed? Either way, I'm addicted and that's where my love for curling wands began. If you haven't used one before, it takes sometime getting used to, and you can burn yourself easier but the curls last longer!

♥ Recently, I purchased the Titan 3 from NuMe. It comes with 3 different size Barrels and its A-MAZING! There are 6 colors; black, deep fuchsia, pink, blue, purple and turquoise. I chose the deep fuchsia. It's made of titanium and heats up to 410 degrees but you can adjust the heat settings. It retails on the website for $239 but before you roll your eyes, I have an amazing coupon I found on retailmenot. The coupon is BUBZLOVE and it saves you $153 off! Yes you read that right! Including shipping it cost $98. I realize $98 is a bit pricey and if your just wanting a regular wand you can purchase a classic wand for $49 with free shipping, I will put the code at the bottom of the page. You can also look on retailmenot for other amazing coupons for NuMe. Most of them will save you atleast 70% so make sure to look. Remember to ALWAYS use heat protective spray when using the wand. It really heats up and you can't imagine the damage it does to your hair after awhile without any heat protection. If you are planning on using your wand everyday I highly suggest you shampoo less and use a deep conditioner. The heat damage can really effect your hair after awhile.

♥ Shipping was pretty fast, I was impressed. It came in this pretty box along with an instruction sheet and heat protectant glove which I highly suggest you use. I have been using curling wands for awhile and the burn marks they leave are horrible. You wear the glove on the hand you use to hold the ends of your hair not the hand you hold the wand with.

♥ I chose the deep fuchsia color. It features 3 different barrels; 19mm, 25mm and 35mm. At first it was a bit hard to change them but you really need to push the sides in and twist it off hard. It get's easier after the first time you change it.

♥ These are the curls from the 19" barrel. It took about a half hour to get this look. I really love these curls even though they took alot of length off my hair. It's always nice to switch your hair up a bit.

♥ These are the curls I got from the 25 mm barrel and this look only took about five minutes. No seriously 5 minutes. I just curled the ends really fast to get an idea of how the barrel works. This is their most popular wand size and this barrel creates amazing everyday waves.

♥ These are the curls I got from the 32 mm barrel. This barrel is really good for long loose waves. If you want super loose and natural waves separate into 6 big sections, and curl.

♥  I really LOVE the wand, it's definitely becoming part of my daily hair routine. If you are planning on only using one of the barrels I would suggest just ordering a single magic wand. I will leave a coupon code below for that also.I know their 25 mm is their most popular and its probably going to be my most used one simply because it's good for your everyday curls. I also own one of the classic wands and one of the advantages of the Titan 3/magic wands is the fact you can adjust the heat. Also, I noticed that there was less heat damage from the Titan 3 versus the classic curling wand probably because it's made out of titanium. With the classic wand I could see my hair smoking and I could only leave it on my hair for 5-8 seconds. I know curling wands can be a bit intimidating but it has it's advantages. You can really control the type of curl you want better with a wand versus a regular curling iron. And it's really great if you want to only style the bottom of you hair for a very loose curls. I've been using the John Freeda heat protection spray but I am looking for a better one because I can still feel some of my ends drying. So if you have any suggestions feel free to leave some. I will leave links to the products below.

♥ Get the Reverse Wand for $27 with the code ILOVENUGGET

♥ For the Titan 3 use code BUBZLOVE to get the wand for $98

♥ To get a single magic wand of your choice for $49 use code jloves49.

♥ To get a classic wand of your choice for $49 + free shipping use code NUME49.

♥ Please note I got all of these codes from retailmenot. If these codes were sent to you for your blog, please let me know and I will give you credit/link you.

The Starlet Letter

I am excited to finally start my official blog "The Starlet Letter"! I think it's come to the point I am getting on my husbands and friends nerves the amount of talk I do about fashion and shopping as I spend almost all of my free time shopping, browsing fashion blogs and websites looking for new outfit/makeup/hair ideas. So I am going to channel that energy into my blog. Might as well put my shopping to good use right? lol. But hey I'm not a shopaholic I am helping the economy! I have been using my instagram http://instagram.com/heatherzynha as my fashion blog for a while now, I will share some of my favorite outfits from instagram below. I will include outfit posts on here along with hair care, makeup and product reviews. I would describe my style as girly and very unique. I'm not much of a pants wearer, no seriously I hate them along with winter. I live in dresses and skirts, in the fall/winter I just wear tights and over the knee socks. I also have the great fortune of living in Italy so I am surrounded by Italian fashion. I am not so sure I blend in very well here, but hey who wants to be like everyone else anyways? And to be honest I don't think I blend in anywhere lol. One of the many advantages of Europe is travel so I will be including that in this blog too. A little more about me: I am 24 years old, I am a USAF wife and I have been married for a year and a half :) I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy updating it.
