An American Girl in Paris

Bonjour Mon Ami. I am so excited to share my trip to Paris. I've dreamed of going to Paris all my life and I feel so lucky to have been able to experience it. It's absolutely everything I imagined it to be and more. The macaroons, the fashion, the EIFFEL TOWER. All of it was amazing.

I absolutely felt like Carrie Bradshaw while I was there, especially in this dress. I mean if you're going to go to Paris you better do it right. Perfect dress, heels, full on everything Am I right? This dress is from Chicwish. My best friend Elise actually showed it to me and I knew I had to have it. It was absolutely perfect for Paris.

Okay, this picture has a story. You notice how I am wearing ugly socks lol? I made the dumb decision to wear a brand new pair of heels around Paris my first day there, and they cut up my feet to the point I had to go out and buy flat shoes/socks. I really love high heels, but I should of known better than to wear never worn ones for that long let alone 12 hours. It took about a week to be able to walk right after that lol.

You can't go to Paris without eating the Macaroons, you just can't! It took me awhile to find a Macaroon shop that was open late on a Sunday because in case you didn't know almost everything is closed on Sundays. But I found a little ice cream place selling some and explained to the guy how everything was closed and he replied in a sad tone "these aren't regular Macaroons they have ice cream in them."  I looked him strangely, who on earth would turn down macaroons with ice cream in them. Not me! Give me all da Macaroons

Crepes are a very very big thing in Paris. If you don't know what it is its basically a sugary type of dessert with fruit, chocolate or whatever you want in the middle. And anything with Nutella in it is okay with me. I forgot to take a picture of my crepe, so I had to go on google and get one, but this is it. And it was delicious and worth every calorie lol.

I think everyone dreams of seeing the Eiffel Tower in person. Honestly my pictures don't do it justice. It's absolutely amazing seeing it upclose. It's so so beautiful at night. It sparkles at midnight and you can lay in the grass and drink wine and look at it all lit up.

The rain washed all my makeup off in this picture. It rained 90% of the time we were there lol. But that's okay, you can't rain on my parade lol. I actually bought this outfit there. I think it only cost me about 20 dollars for both pieces :)

Here are some of the things I bought on my trip. I included it all in my Paris shopping haul. You can see more pics in there.

My best friend Lorena actually told me about the Sweetheart Lock bridge in Paris. These locks also called love locks are supposed to represent your eternal love. You buy a lock, write your names on the front and lock it to the bridge and then throw your key into the river. Can you guess which one is ours? Yes you are right if you guessed the pink lol. I didn't have a marker on me, but I did have bright pink nail polish! It saved the day lol. I can't wait to go back and look for it. I wish we had done it during the day but it was pretty romantic to do it at night :)

I'm not entirely sure what building this was, but it was beautiful none the less. And yes that is my husband lol. He doesn't like to take a ton of pictures and doesn't really want a ton of pictures of him on my blog. But here he is lol.

Ha, trying to take a typical tourist photo when this guy photo bombed me lol. I literally had no idea this guy was behind me until I turned around and screamed. I wish I had got a picture of me screaming but I didn't. I know I look calm but I wasn't I screamed so loud lol.

I haven't had a veggie burger in awhile so I was pretty happy to eat here :) and buy shirts for my parents.

Random pretty buildings on our walk around.

We used the hop on hop off bus. You can buy 1,2, or 3 day passes and you can sit on the top deck and ride around and see all the sites or get off and get back on whenever you want.

Paris I will be back <3
